Planning Board

The Town of Ellicottville Planning Board is a seven-member board appointed to guide the physical growth, land use, and long-term development of the community.  The Board is responsible for reviewing applications for site plans, subdivisions and special use permits. 

​The Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 PM, at the Ellicottville Town Center, 28 Parkside Drive, Ellicottville, NY 14731.  The submission deadline for Planning Board applications is 3 weeks prior to the Board meeting.  Late or incomplete submissions will be reviewed the following month.  A complete submission includes a Zoning Permit first reviewed by the Zoning Official for compliance with the Town's Zoning Laws.

Board Members do not keep office hours.  All zoning, development and board review matters are managed directly through the Planning Department.  If you have an item for the Board's attention, please contact the Planning Department to get started.
